enhance your roleplay experiences with these helpful tools and shortcuts

how to use these quick replies

Quick Replies (QRs) are pre-written commands that can be added to the SillyTavern UI via the Quick Replies extension for easy access. They can run complex commands or simply insert text with a single click.

  1. Download the JSON file for the QR set you want to use
  2. In SillyTavern, navigate to the QR settings (in the Extensions drawer)
  3. Use the import option and select the downloaded JSON file
  4. Save your changes and the new QRs will appear in your QR list. Follow any additional instructions.

Note: These QRs are designed for use with SillyTavern! I'm FAR from an expert so these are just my personal quick replies that I really enjoy using. I got a lot of tips from the SillyTavern Discord so if you haven't joined that already, I highly recommend!

RP Tools

download set ↓

A bunch of tools to enhance your roleplay experience. This set contains multiple quick replies. Meant to be used as a set, but you could remove the ones you don't want, just be careful because some are visible and some are set to invisible and are dependencies. They should all be labeled though.

Some of these require CSS Snippets and/or LALib to function.

Instructions: Download the QR set, rename it to RP Tools and import it in SillyTavern - it should create a new QR set called RP Tools (THE NAME IS IMPORTANT). Use this set as a context menu for a blank QR button or just set it as your active set if you don't use multiple buttons (if you don't, you shooould).

Character Insight

Generates detailed character analysis based on the conversation, including motivations, hidden feelings, and potential character development.

Change Scene

Smoothly transition to a new location or create a time skip in your roleplay with customizable options.

Plot Twister

Introduces unexpected plot twists to your story, keeping the narrative fresh and exciting.

Scenario Challenge

Creates challenging situations for characters to overcome, with various types including physical, emotional, survival, and more.

Random Item

Introduces a contextually appropriate item into the scene, which can be practical, sentimental, mysterious, or valuable.

NPC Introducer

Generates and adds a new non-player character to your scene with customizable relationship types and personality traits.

Relationship Status

Define or generate the current relationship between characters, ensuring consistent character dynamics. Injects the relationship in the chat history.

Environmental Control

Change the atmosphere, weather, time of day, or mood of the current scene. Can gen a description of the change, or just create CSS for a visual change. (Requires CSS Snippets extension).

Flashback

Create a flashback scene to explore character history, with options for different time periods and contexts. Makes use of SillyTavern checkpoints to keep flashbacks distinct from the main chat.

Scenario Generator

download set ↓

An interactive system for creating new roleplay scenarios and starting points. First asks if you want to use your current character and/or persona (if not, it allows you to choose from a list - I've used my characters from Faebane as an example!) Uses the first message of a new chat to generate fresh scenarios with different moods (Adventure, Horror, Sweet, etc), tropes (Childhood Friends, Pretend Lovers, Marriage of Convenience, etc), and situations (Sharing a Bed, Aphrodisiac, Soul Bonded, etc). Also allows you to input custom scenarios. May require LALib.

This uses just a single QR that runs the entire system, making it simple to add to your collection.

Instructions: Download the QR set, rename it to system_greetings, and import it in SillyTavern - it should create a new QR set called system_greetings (THE NAME IS IMPORTANT). Create a new Quick Reply wherever you want the trigger for the Scenario Creator to go - label it whatever you want, and type /run system_greetings.createScenario in its contents field. To run the Scenario Generator, click the QR button you just created.

This example set uses characters from my Faebane world and my own personas. You need to look in the system_greetings set you just imported, specifically the characterList QR. Edit it to use your own characters and personas.
